Terms & Conditions for Crystal Clear Cleaning

Welcome to Crystal Clear Cleaning. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, communications, quotations, bookings, and any cleaning services provided by us.

By requesting a quote, booking our services, or engaging with our website, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.


1. Definitions

  • “Crystal Clear Cleaning”, “we”, “us”, “our” – Crystal Clear Cleaning and its authorised representatives.

  • “Client”, “you”, “your” – Any individual, business, property owner, or accommodation provider engaging our services.

  • “Services” – Holiday accommodation cleaning, window cleaning, laundry washing services, building wash-downs, power washing, and related cleaning services.

  • “Website” – Any website or online presence operated by Crystal Clear Cleaning.


2. Our Services

Crystal Clear Cleaning provides professional residential, commercial, and holiday accommodation cleaning services in Swakopmund and surrounding areas.

Services may be provided on a once-off or recurring basis depending on agreement. We reserve the right to refuse, modify, or discontinue services where conditions are unsafe, access is restricted, instructions are unclear, or payment terms are not met.


3. Quotes & Pricing

3.1 Quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.

3.2 Prices may vary based on:

  • Property size or condition

  • Level of soiling

  • Additional requests

  • Frequency of service

3.3 Quotes are estimates and may change if the scope of work differs from what was originally described.

3.4 Crystal Clear Cleaning is not obligated to honour expired quotations.


4. Bookings, Payments & Approval

4.1 A booking is confirmed once the quote is approved verbally or in writing (email or WhatsApp).

4.2 A deposit may be required for certain services before work commences.

4.3 The remaining balance is due on completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4.4 Late or non-payment may result in suspension of services or refusal of future bookings.


5. Access to Property

5.1 Clients must ensure safe and reasonable access to the property at the agreed time.

5.2 If access is not available, the booking may be treated as a cancellation.

5.3 Pets must be secured and valuables safely stored prior to cleaning.


6. Turnaround Times & Scheduling

6.1 Service times are estimates and may vary depending on workload and conditions.

6.2 Delays caused by weather, access issues, or circumstances beyond our control do not constitute breach of contract.


7. Damage, Risk & Liability

7.1 All services are carried out with reasonable care.

7.2 Crystal Clear Cleaning is not liable for damage resulting from:

  • Pre-existing damage

  • Wear and tear

  • Structural defects

  • Poor-quality or fragile surfaces

7.3 Power washing and exterior cleaning carry inherent risks, especially on older buildings. Clients accept these risks.

7.4 Liability, where applicable, is limited to the cost of the service provided.


8. Cancellations & Refunds

8.1 Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

8.2 Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged in full.

8.3 Refunds are not provided for completed services unless unsatisfactory workmanship is reported within 24 hours.


9. Quality Assurance

9.1 Any concerns must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.

9.2 We reserve the right to inspect the property before agreeing to corrective action.


10. Use of Website & Content

10.1 All website content, branding, and images are the property of Crystal Clear Cleaning unless stated otherwise.

10.2 Content may not be copied, reproduced, or reused without written permission.


11. Privacy & Personal Information

11.1 Personal information is processed in accordance with Namibian common-law privacy principles and best practice.

11.2 Personal data is used solely for service delivery, communication, and record-keeping.

12. Third-Party Services

We are not responsible for services, actions, or damages caused by third parties not directly employed by Crystal Clear Cleaning.


13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Namibian law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in question


14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Crystal Clear Cleaning harmless from any claims arising from unsafe property conditions, incorrect instructions, or failure to disclose relevant information.


15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Namibia. Any disputes will be resolved within Namibian courts or through mutually agreed mediation.


16. Amendments

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
